A broker, real estate agent, and professional are different types of professionals in the field of Realtors®. They offer valuable services to buyers and sellers alike with their expertise in transactions. There is a distinction between brokers, agents, and professionals depending on what type of license they carry. A broker may not be able to represent your interests as well because he or she represents both parties involved in the transaction; an agent typically works under direction from a licensed broker but some work independently while professionals are all licensed by the state’s department of commerce or HUD.
In conclusion: The difference between these three professions is that a broker often acts for both buyer and seller whereas an agency usually act for one side only (either buyer or seller)
